Do you want to know a secret to building a massive MLM downline with no effort whatsoever, no work for you to do and no time or money for you to invest?
Do you?
Yeah, me too. So if you figure it out (or if someone helps you figure it it out) be sure to let me know, okay?
Until then, let’s just assume that success (any success) requires effort.
Yet we see a lot of people work very hard at building their opportunity and not get far, while other reps in the same company keep raking in some major checks. How is that possible?
There could be several factors — and we’ll be exploring those in the future articles. Today, we’ll look at one that is (in my opinion) is the most critical. And that is…
Consistency Of Action
Invariably, people who build massive network marketing organizations exhibit this trait. They work their opportunity every day, even if for a short time. They never take a “leave of absence” from their business. They don’t start and stop. They don’t deliberate and think about what they are going to do today to build their business — they just do it.
They focus on doing a few simple things that help them build their business every day.
Every day.
Even if it’s a weekend.
Or a holiday.
Or their sister’s birthday.
No matter what the calendar says that day, they are going to do something for their business. Even if it’s something quick and simple.
And because they do that every day, it becomes their second nature. They develop a habit of building their business every day, much like they have a habit of brushing their teeth every morning (and I sure hope they do brush their teeth).
What Do The Unsuccessful MLM Distributors Do?
The unsuccessful but well-meaning MLM reps build their opportunity in spurts. They let their life events get in the way and they build their team whenever they “get around to it.” Or they set some time aside every few weeks and try to play catch-up.
This approach never works.
The irony is that the consistent approach is less work. And that’s how you see some successful distributors who can afford to work their network marketing opportunity very, very part-time and still enjoy big checks.
Yet it is the in-consistent approach that most of us adopt by default. We behave like that bad student who never gets around to work on the project until the night before it’s due, and now he needs to work hard and stay up all night hoping to complete it. And the result is going to be less than stellar — hey, I was that student so I’m talking from experience!
Becoming a Consistent Network Marketer requires a little bit of dedication, tenacity, and desire to instill in yourself new good habits over a relatively short period. And there is no other investment under the sun that would pay off so handsomely!
